Excellent follow-up article ! But I am not so sure about the historically accurate repiction of Zeno, since the greek academics have long debated about his decorative accessories. The latest theory supports that he was quite a hardcore ganster with the constant tendecy of wearing golden chains around his neck.
And an actual fact: The name Stoicism comes from the greek word Στωικισμός which comes from the greek word Στοά for the Arcade/Portico. This is because Zenon was usually giving his lectures inside the Ποικίλη Στοά a famous arcade near the ancient market (Αγορά) of Athens.
Hehehe. Zeno of Citium, the OG.
And good point about the Stoa Poikile. Looking back on it, I should have added that somewhere in the story.
