Charles Sanders Peirce was the creator of Pragmatism, at least in terms of a philosophical theory. But Peirce was more interested in "signs" and "logic" than perhaps some other pragmatists of his day, giving Peirce a bit of an "edge" as they say. In fact, if not for a VERY patient publisher named Paul Carus--who gave Peirce a LOT of liberty--we may not have a lot of Peirce's work.
Enjoy and remember: Be excellent to each other, and think hard!
