Characteristics of an Information :

  1. Relevance
    The information has benefits for the wearer. The relevance of information for each person to one another is different. The information is relevant if it reduces uncertainty and improves the decision-making ability to make predictions and then adds knowledge or value to decision makers by reducing uncertainty as well as increasing the ability to forecast or confirm or correct previous expectations.
    Relevant information relates to the extent to which such information can make a difference to alternative decision-making. Information that may influence the economic decisions of its users by assisting such users in evaluating past, present or future events. Affirms or corrects user evaluation results in the past. The information provided should have the benefit of being the basis of decision-making as required and meeting the needs of the user in the decision-making process.
  2. Reliable
    The information is reliable if it is free from errors or deviations. Be presented honestly and free from misleading and dependable understanding of the wearer as a sincere or honest presentation of what should be presented or reasonably expected to be presented.
  3. Complete
    The information is complete if it does not eliminate important aspects of the event that is the basis of the problem, does not ignore the important data.
