In late 2012, I remember finding out about Bitcoin and I instantly saw something great within it. I wasn't sure what it was, but I just knew there was something about it that made me feel like it had the potential to change EVERYTHING. Ever since then, slowly but surely, I have watched this currency change the way we look at money.
Around a year or two later I found my passion in life, Cognitive Science, and started reading a lot of books on pretty much anything about the mind. I ended up coming across one particular author, Robert Anton Wilson, who introduced the idea of the Jumping Jesus Phenomenon. Basically this phenomenon uses Jesus' as a unit of measure for the accumulation of knowledge gained over a certain period of time. Wilson explains that it took around 1500 years to get the second Jesus from the time he was born in 1 AD, so pretty much it took 1500 years to to accumulate a certain level of knowledge, which in turn, will have an effect on our technology and also how fast it takes to get another Jesus. As we all see today, over the last 20 years or so, technology has grown at a rate never before seen. I personally believe this to be the result of the Jesus effect, because around 1985 is when the Jesus effect started almost a tumble effect, rapidly producing Jesus' amount of knowledge.

Now, with all that said, it is my opinion that Crypto Currencies are a direct result of this rapid expansion of technology and knowledge. Fiat currencies are tricks, schemes, and lies, they cannot survive anymore (in their original state at least) especially in comparison to the freedom Crypto Currency offers. Whether people like it or not, this is just the beginning of a whole new type of world and way of living, and those of us that are awake to that already should do our best to spread the knowledge and open other's eyes. Some people are heavy sleepers, but you will know when you wake someone up because you will see a glint of knowing in their eyes and hear true interest in their voice. Technology is moving so fast that some of us will just wake up all by our selves, and I believe everyone eventually will no matter what, but when you help speed up the process it can and will work wonders. I have many friends and know many people that have had their life completely changed in the most positive ways because of the opportunity they see with Crypto Currency in our world.
So remember, next time your feeling down about the world, realize that we live in a time that is so ever changing and expanding we can accumulate thousands of years worth of knowledge in SECONDS. Remember that there are things in this world worth living for that can and will make all of our lives better. Just do your best and don't let fear contain you, get up every morning with the will power to push and adventure through this crazy life and explore the things you are interested in, and most off all try and find what you love to do.
