Hey citizen, if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear, so let the Government watch and control you entirely, because it is the right thing to do right?
Well if you disagree with this statement, then you can stop reading this article, because I agree with you. But if you agree with that statement, then it's a big problem, and this article is written exactly for you to clean your mind from the brainwashing.
First of all the phrase and argument "If you have Nothing to Hide, You have Nothing to Fear!" was invented by the Nazis, and it was used by Chief Nazi Propagandist Joseph Goebbels to justify the persecution of the Jewish people in the Holocaust.
So yes, it is evil Nazi propaganda from the start. How can people be so stupid to swallow it? It's exactly how those masses of dumb people who swallowed the hatred that the Nazis spewed out day in day out.
What is there to hide? Well did you knew that some moral and courageous people helped hide Jews during the Holocaust? Many Jews were saved from the horrors because people helped them hide and escape, for example in Denmark thousands of Jews were saved thanks to courageous people that didn't swallow this crap argument.
Many people did have someone to hide, and that is why thankfully tens of thousands of lives got saved in the most evil genocide in humanity.
Don't forget this, Privacy literally helped save tens of thousands of lives in the Holocaust.
So when people say that you don't have a right to Privacy, they are literal Nazi Apologists, because if the Nazis would have applied the same surveillance technology like the Government has in 2016, then nobody would have survived the Holocaust, as every Partisan organization or Underground Resistance against the Nazis would have been quickly identified and eliminated.
I mean the first thing Hitler did when he got to power was to enact Massive Surveillance Laws with the technology available then. And if he have had technology like that which exists today, then the Holocaust would have been 1000x larger.
So by people having Privacy, they can stop Evil in the world! If they don't, then horrible things could happen by an out of control Government taken over by Nazis.
What are people thinking? Seriously? How can people sink so low, to advocate Nazi propaganda openly, these people who deny you Privacy are literal Nazi Demons.

i like the idea of turning this around on the public servants who use it against We the People. we pay them to represent us, not command us. if they are doing their jobs, then why would they need to delete emails? and before anyone thinks i'm one of these fake republicans, does anyone remember when the safe caught fire in Dick Cheney's office? i wonder what got burned.
what do they have to hide? if they're not doing anything wrong? everything they do should be public knowledge anyway.
Exactly, governments go more and more private and secretive, while they demand citizens to be fully transparent. It's like the Nazis carrying out horrific human experiments in the secret while the phonelines were wiretapped and started identifying and persecuting Jews.
Everything evil Governments are doing today was inspired from the Nazis, look up Operation Paperclip:
i made a post addressing this same secrecy only 3 days ago, having to do with, not only government, but also many large, tax free foundations. https://steemit.com/life/@lifeworship/classified-top-secret
How would a safe catch fire? How would a safe's contents catch fire? Apologies for the ignorance, but I thought safes are the epitome of safety from fire.
i have no idea how any of it could catch fire unless it was intentional. it was reported, at the time as a "man sized safe", so i guess it could have contained lots of flammables, and Dick Cheney is old and crazy. maybe he had the door open and mistook it for a large ash tray. maybe it's where he kept his white phosphorous collection. it sounds to me like the same sort of thing as hillary's electronic storage accidentally being destroyed with hammers.
