RE: Free Will and Conscious Freedom

in #philosophy8 years ago (edited)

consciousness is a divine instinct, immortal and celestial voice; assured guide of a human being ignorant and narrow-minded, but intelligent and free; infallible judge of good and evil, it is this consciousness which do the excellence of our nature and the morality of our actions; without its divine power there will be nothing within us that rises us above animals , except the sad privilege to be lost in errors with a mind without a ruler and a reason without principle.

i'm not sure what you are talking about but animals are also conscious beings.

Do animals have regrets, i don't think so,regrets are linked to conscious...

Who says they don't have regrets? and btw you make consciousness way to overcomplicated.
