There's very little known in this world, beyond one absolute: What lives in the physical world will eventually die. Though that death will feed back into "the circle of life", here on Earth, as Mufasa puts it in "The Lion King", and while that may ripple into the solar system, the galaxy and the universe, given a long enough timeline, the most imminent battle for our mortal longevity is being fought this very second as we live and breathe. It is in this moment that we determine our own mortality and the future of our existence as a species. There is no other moment, but the past and distant future for humanity, if we choose to lay down and die instead of taking the fight to every day. The warrior spirit within, it must find its' day.
This is not a call to arms against man or beast; it is not a call to raise a glass and feast one last time. This is a simple statement of the world as it lives and dies before my eyes. Though we may not know for certain, our own destiny, the very question incites these thoughts in me:
Do we live this day to let it pass, while placidly laying down our looking glass? Do we passively live this day to give up on tomorrow as it slips away? What opportunities do we let pass, as we ignore the lessons of our past? Is our future so bright that we're blinded by it's dawning light, or are we breaking upon a dusk so dim that we're destined to fall to a darkness where new life will begin? Is there wisdom in throwing down our weapons in the war against disease: to hide away and wait for their evolution with the rising seas? Am I right to ask these questions without proving the existence of all those things that some may call superstitions? Will the sun, in it's nature shift the poles of the earth, as it may have done many times before and insight rebirth? Will the ripples of what is happening in this moment of time make waves that echo out beyond human kind? Are we prepared to meet the reality of our nature or are we fixed upon our nomenclature? Is what we see as complexity, just a simple case of perplexity? In the wake of a rising tide, wide and far, will we see the joining of hands instead of war? Can we, as a species, become so objective- to work, but not live as a collective? How then could we change our perspective to do what is needed to change our directive? Is their a way that we can become a community without forcing total unity? Is there world bound and determined to be come something without out us to leave itself unburdened? Can we be facing the last natural age without all of humanity being put in a cage? Is there any point to asking for creating a pollution if it leads to no greater solution? Will we face the days, months and years ahead with the ability to govern the thoughts in our head? How far is it that humanity will be willing to go as the technology continues to grow? Will this be read by an AI that will take over the earth, or is it the future of humanity with all of our vanity to integrate wholly with AI in mirth to create a new species and print DNA, intending perfection at birth? Is resistance futile to such a possible future ahead, or are we still conscious enough to face our death bed? Can we hope to surpass our mortality without losing our nature, or are we already extinct as we witness the melting of our last glacier?
With so many questions, I'd hope to have answers. This subject is heavy, but it elates me to share it. Although, the uncomfortable feeling of my thoughts being observed so completely, doesn't remove the knowledge that they're already being observed somewhat discreetly. There's no fingerprint left unturned, in a digital world where nothing is burned.
Today, I had an incredible conversation that sparked this little innovation. While I may digress and slip in and our of tangents, I must express, that life is worth fighting for, even when we feel like its' time to rest.
Humanity today is faced with great responsibility. To quote Uncle Ben from Spiderman:
"With great responsibility comes great power."
...Or do I have that wrong?
Much love awesome humans, and be kind to one another.

Howdy...
Thanks for reblogging my post
Your article has just driven me to get up from the bed.
Honestly speaking, sometimes I feel like I'm yet to find my purpose most of the time and at the same time knowing I'm getting older by the day and I need to level up.
I may not know the future but I keep accomplishing something a day knowing that one that day it'll make sense
Remember little droplets of water form a might ocean
You're welcome! Glad that my thoughts stirred you up. Purpose is like the sun. It's steady and changing, sometimes hiding, but always reaching far and wide. Felt by all, sought by some and found by the few who are willing to do what it takes. Much love and may the many droplets that form the oceans and lakes form you smoothly and gently with purpose for as long as it takes!
