Interesting concept. But I feel like in the end you try to dismantle existing theories but still apply a new one. New authors, new idea makers.
I disagree with a few ideas, like the "Insist on yourself; never imitate" statement, because when you are walking in different social contexts, you should have a good portion of both, yourself and imitation of the located context.
While I would agree with your "go for your own" idea for life. Good post, keep it up!

I'm not trying to, but it can be hard not to get lost in words and logic when talking about this stuff.
I don't agree with everything Emerson said either, or with applying it in all contexts no matter what. It's just interesting that he eliminated some of his assumptions but not the assumption that the best way to analyze yourself is using reason.
