One wise person once told me:
Gods can understand everything except humans' stupidity, which is way beyond their level of wisdom.
It is quite ironic I guess. And before we go deeper into it, I want to say that I consider myself to be stupid as well. However, I try to change this. Sadly, changing one's nature is harder than learning how to walk on water, so I continue being stupid as it is the only thing I can do at this stage of my life.
And I am not kidding here. I honestly believe that my aunt would learn to run on the water easier than she could finally learn to stop being "the best ever in everything" type of person, who cannot and won't see anyone else's goodness.
Start observing other people's actions from a neutral standpoint. You'll be shocked.
I am not talking about big decisions here. I am speaking about the smallest details which people cannot control. Those details always show who is who and from my experience - no one is Budha. From time to time, I catch myself doing irrational decisions or running from my responsibilities just because I get a chance. You know those situations when you know that you must do something, but you can avoid doing it if you keep your mouth shut and stay low-profile? Well, due to my cheeky nature I get into those situations quite often; however, whenever I am pushing myself toward making right decisions nowadays, even though they might not be beneficial to me on a short-run. Why?
Karma likes justice. Karma rewards justice. I like rewards. I am a f-ing egoist.
And it is beyond me how egoistic people don't understand that the best way to gain is to give to others. I am not talking about delusional philanthropy here. In the 21st century, being honest, living up to your words, and not hurting others is more than enough to impress karma. And here comes my main point - how come people don't understand that after that many years of existence?
Oh yes - we all understand that somewhere deep down, however, our stupidity keeps us from acting right and making things better for everyone. If rich shared their's bread with poor, poor would not have to become thieves. However, if poor haven't become thieves, rich would most likely have shared their's bread. And the circle is endless. And stupidity doesn't let people leave that circle.
So, I guess I am in love with stupidity as it is the most fascinating human's attribute ever. We, the ones who want to achieve big, knowingly choose to make all the wrong decisions because... we are stupid? We let emotions control us? We don't think? Well, I think I am too stupid to know the answer yet.
Hahahaha....what a phylosophy on how to be happy. Appreciating other people's stupidity and acknowledging yours. Upvoted and followed
Yes! Thank you, Patrick!
You are welcome
It seems that many of the rich, while having a great abundance, are still thieves.
I tend to think that many people are thieves, the only difference is that poor don't have an opportunity.
Or as Sokrates said: I know that I know nothing.
Yup, that is also very true!
