RE: [aNomad´s thoughts] Is Nostalgia denial of the painful present?

in #philosophy7 years ago

I remembered that my favorite writer, Mr. Yukari Ishii 's book "The reason for choosing" was written as follows.

Life is often compared to a way. We often go to a crossroad or a three-way street.

If you choose one, you can not choose another. When I go on the way and things disgusting and painful happen, I think that "If you chose a different path then, I could not have done such a thing!" To regret.

But, when I think of "I was the one who chose you", the scenery changes a little.

I happened to be "responsible for this way". Some himself chose the other way, that is over there and I managed to do it. So when I try to imagine it, it makes me feel a little somewhat.

There were not "correct answers" and "mistakes" in the selection. Both, I have my own choice, I also have been to both at the branch point ahead. Even if we diverge more and more, there is no "choice not chosen". All the options are properly chosen.

There is a magical power in this image. There is the power to let us catch up with the unacceptable reality.

If you are the one who chose everything, there is nothing meaningful in "choice" any more. I did not pick something by myself and truncated something.

I chose the choice that I tried to truncate, there is another world somewhere. There is no empty world that could not live. It's all painted.

With this image, the past that you chose by yourself will be invalid. And the reality before you jumps into yourself like a mysterious mysterious thing, in a bare form.

I did not know that I could capture that way of choosing the way.

I resteemed this post. Thank you.
