Yu Televentures is a subsidiary of Micromax Informatics Pvt Ltd. India's largest smartphone maker launched this sub-brand as an online-only venture. Yu makes affordable Android smartphones, sold in flash sales on popular Indian ecommerce websites. The company also makes a fitness tracker and a health device that monitors vital parameters such as blood pressure. Yu's latest mobile launch is the Yunique 2. The smartphone was launched in July 2017. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels.
The Yu Yunique 2 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Yu Yunique 2 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Yu Yunique 2 runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 2500mAh non removable battery. It measures 145.00 x 72.70 x 9.15 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 159.00 grams.
The Yu Yunique 2 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM and Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
