One of the new tourist attractions in Surabaya, namely Keputih Bamboo Forest and Sakura Park in Surabaya. The location of this bamboo forest is in a former landfill, but now it has been managed and planted with various plants, one of which is this bamboo plant. Bamboo is quite shady & pretty much a garden area planted with bamboo, so it attracts many people especially those who like photography. Even pre-wedding photos are also starting to take place in this bamboo forest.
In addition to the bamboo forest, across from the location of the bamboo forest, exactly right behind the Keputih public transport terminal, there is Sakura Park. In newspaper news it is often called Taman Harmoni, but when we get there there is the Sakura Park signboard. Just the name, there are no cherry blossoms in this garden. Compared to other parks in Surabaya like Bungkul Park, Sakura's garden is no less beautiful. There are various plants & flowers in this park, reportedly there is still more development of the park, it is hoped that later it can become one of the largest parks in the city of Surabaya.
Street sign
Hint: from Arief Rahman Hakim road continues towards the Keputih direction, later there will be a wooden sign ‘whitish terminal‘ turn right, not long after, on the left side of the road the terminal will appear. The bamboo forest is directly opposite the terminal, while the sakura park is at the rear (adjacent to) the Keputih terminal ...
