History in Terracotta,Bangladesh

Kantajyu temple or Kantaji temple in Dinajpur is a unique building built in the 18th century. The specialty of this temple, covering the entire temple with about 15 thousand terracotta tiles. Kahorol, Dinajpur, recent pictures.

Maharaja Zamindar Prannath Roy started the construction of the temple in 1722. Terracotta plaques decorated with temples have been highlighted by various legends.

Terekota has been praised by Mahatrata and Ramayana.

The height of the temple standing on stone base is more than 50 feet.

This temple is worshiped by Sri Krishna
