The photo shows that the leaves of the two plants are located in different directions, towards each other.
Whether this is true or not. I noticed that by and large, plants do not really like the neighborhood of their brethren. And this is not necessary when their roots are in close proximity. This happens when they feel the leaves of a neighbor, as people say there is a sensation of the shoulder. Probably, in the leaves there are receptors that can distinguish one from another and give a signal. Oh, plants do not have a brain, so there is no one to send a signal, most likely, the dissemination of information takes place at the central body across all cells simultaneously. So, when plants feel a neighbor, they grow more, they gain a deciduous mass, probably trying to cover more areas, to accumulate sunlight. Such a war of flowers!
Wow! It's amazing...nice photo
thanks!
