In the Pacific, once again discovered a rare shark-viper, whose jaws can literally "advance" forward. Due to this, it is compared with the "xenomorph" from the fantastic action movie "Alien".

The first such shark was found in 1986, but since then only a few fish have been taken from the sea. During the day they live at a depth of 300-400 meters, and at night they rise to a depth of 150 meters.
The retractable jaws allow the sharks to swallow a very large fish at a time. It got its name for the teeth, which reminded the fangs of snakes. Earlier, at the coast of Portuguese Algrave, scientists caught a prehistoric monster shark 1.5 meters long, it had 300 teeth.
