Innsbruck is a city located between alps, in the Tyrol Region.
This western Austrian geography can also be found in northern Italy and Switzerland, and they call it “Tirol”. That was completely new to me. There is also the state of Tirol, and the capital is Innsbruck, as far as I could understand.
There are traces of habitants from the Stone Age in this area.
It’s very old.
This is a picture from the place I was staying over there.
Just look at these mountains…… that’s what I call a beautiful view. One of the most stunning I’ve ever seen.
No doubt about it.
Interesting Facts:
The Region of Tyrol (in English), was even part of the “Holy Roman Empire”, back in the old days… according to their official website.

I was staying in this nice building, by the way. Cool right? The name is Pema 2, and is the newest building on Innsbruck. I was lucky to have a friend over there so I could stay for free. 2 weeks in total was my time in Innsbruck.
I truly didn’t know Austria could be so nice and beautiful. Specially talking about the Alps. I was completely ignorant about it. Never head about the Region of Tirol before. For me, the Alps were only in Switzerland and France. I admit my previous ignorance about it.
But know that I know, I’d highly recommend everyone to explore this area one day. Definitely add it on your travel list!
