A hill that used to stand erect on the shores of Aceh Jaya, Aceh Province has now been split in two due to the earthquake followed by the tsunami in 2004. Now on holidays this place is visited by many people as tourist attractions. That day I and my family visited this place not on holidays and I had the opportunity to take this photo when it was quiet.
The 9.1 SR earthquake in 2004 triggered a giant tsunami that swept a number of beaches in the Indian Ocean to a height of 30 meters which split the hill in two.
