Those Penlicans. What is beautiful flying machine, just watching them hunting for fresh sushi! This whole week Monther Nature has been closing out the evening with early Xmas presents.
Exactly. Just watching the pelicans doing those kamikaze dives is fascinating :) Enjoy what Mother Nature has been giving you in Cali my friend, here in Central Europe, winter is already in full swing. Freezing temperatures, cloudy skies, fogs and super short days with just a few hours of daylight... No me gusta :D :/
Oh yes the kamikaze dives are remarkable, and then they just shake off the water from those huge wings while holding a fish in their bill... amazing. I suffered through a couple of decades growing up near Syracuse New York and I don't miss those winters. Stay warm!
Haha I can see you have really spent some time observing those birds :) Yeah, they are awesome. Some of them are actually also very tame, like this relaxed buddy whom I captured on a pier in Mexico :D
I remember you come from New York and I bet you don´t miss those winters haha.
The second one, because of the pelican :) I love pelicans. Incredible colors btw, Mother Nature conjuring up some truly spectacular magic here...

Upvoted 👌 (Mana: 0/78) Liquid rewards.
I will never get enough of these pictures. In Germany everything is dull and grey at the moment.
Dull and grey, but hopefully safer! It is getting bad out here. Stay healthy.
Is this with the Ricoh? Doesn't seem hi-def enough, but love the last shot.
I did get it and have been tinkering around trying to learn the various features. A bit overwhelning. I'll start to post some photos soon.
It appears you be do'n something right. The last few posts on IG are looking great, higher def.
Thanks brotha. I am still learning all the setting. Great camera so far! When will you be getting a real camera?
You have two different color schemes playing in the waves. I rarely see such colors at this season.
Oh, what a glorious existence you lead!
It was remarkable watching how Mother Nature's kalodiscope changes. This time of year is so magical!
