Out for my lockdown solo daily exercise in my local woods which happens to be Sherwood Forest. I conveniently took along a camera rotation tool to assist me with the daily exercise...
For this shot I rotated the camera to a 45 degree angle and fired a red gelled flashgun situated at the base of a dead tree and positioned a Godox strobe around the back of the same tree. I then fired a test shot for exposure:
The important thing to do with these kinds of shots is to leave plenty of dark, unexposed space within which to add more light on subsequent rotations. After I shot the first 45 degree angle, I replaced the lens cap without ending the exposure and rotated the camera to another 45 degree increment and repeated the process a total of four times in the case.
As ever this image was created in one photographic exposure and is not a Photoshop creation.
About me: I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.

Lovely!!!
Cheers mate, I found another tree this morning with a big hole in it to light paint. I may be addicted to lighting up trees during this lockdown....
As I live inside Paris, I have no way to escape from this lockdown. I'm stuck at home, the fine is high if you get caught outside for leasure :(
As my kitchen is too narrow I have to go back to the living-room sessions ;)
Keep safe and out of trouble bud
