It's unmistakable to notice this unique looking flower along the walkway. It may not be the loudest in terms of appeal (looking at far), but it does look more interesting when seen up-close.
I found an info about it online and the name of this flower is also interesting and it spells as:
"Shameplant"
Mimosa pudica (from Latin: pudica "shy, bashful or shrinking"; also called sensitive plant, sleepy plant, action plant, Dormilones, touch-me-not, shameplant, or shy plant) is a creeping annual or perennial flowering plant of the pea/legume family Fabaceae and Magnoliopsida taxon, often grown for its curiosity value: the compound leaves fold inward and droop when touched or shaken, defending themselves from harm, and re-open a few minutes later. This reflex may have evolved as a defense mechanism to disincentivize predators, or alternatively to shade the plant in order to reduce water lossage due to evaporation.
On your next explore around your place, make sure to look around and you might stumble to something interesting.
Have a great day everyone!
