Abandoned buildings always hold an interest for me. I wonder who lived there, what were their lives like. This is an old house on the grounds of the old apple orchard. This is my entry for @juliank #architectural photography
This photo was taken with my Sony Vivitar cybershot. I used the Napa filter along with some minor light and color adjustments.
Found you via a comment you posted over on a @SquishySquid post . I also have that deep fascination for old abandoned structures! :)
Thanks for coming by today. Enjoyed your post on house hunting. Good luck with that. It is a big decision.
I agree, there is something fascinating about abandoned buildings.
I always wonder how they came to be abandoned? There are literally thousands all over Britain.
There are many of these building here in america as well. This particular building was housing back in the early 30's for migrant workers for the now extinct apple orchard. It is just down the driveway from me. I loving call them "fixer uppers"
Fixer uppers here tend to be money pits. ;)
Same here. I live in one. She is nearly 100 herself. I think some one just living in her makes her stand. :)

It's a nice photo. Looks like a greeting card that you could write Happy Birthday over.
