Blooming Ice Plants
Sometimes called stone plants, ice plants are hardy plants that grow along the coast. The leaves are succulent, like aloe vera. I shot these ones in California's Central Coast, near Santa Cruz. You'll often see these plants blanketing the bluffs in coastline with either yellow or purple flowers.

I love the mixture of colors in that photo, soft yellow and that sky is amazing.

Carpobrotus edulis, originaria del Sud Africa è una pianta grassa che vive lungo le coste tollerando molto bene gli ambienti salini, per questo la troviamo molto spesso lungo le spiagge. Bellissimo scatto e bellissimi colori!

Are they edible? they sort of look like a succulent in Florida that is.
