Obelisque and her Reflection. Ten Days of Reflection. Day 8. Original photography.

Tapering.
Shaft of crystal.
Infused with sunlight.
I can see a far reaching horizon.
Introspection. Reflection. Awaiting. At peace.

Beautiful photo. I particularly the star light sparkles coming off the crystal. 😍

Thanks so much Gillian.

I want to draw and paint obelisques, in different contexts and eventually making them as sculptures. Been a dream for a long time of a multimedia installation exhibition based on the obelisque.

This photograph was taken more as a reference for both the crystal obelisque and her reflections. The dance of light and shadow on the water was mesmerizing. I was so happy that this image reflects some of the beauty of that light. 🦋

Will you be trapping things in our obelisks? That would be really beautiful.

Yes. As we were installing the sculpture of the 11:11 we had many ideas for encasing objects within the 'pillars.'

Most people making orgonite make pyramids or pendants. Some have made obelisques that look absolutely amazing. If it was just a question of visual impact I would have made obelisques like that too.

However I've found out since, and not everyone with agree, that the crystals don't like being suffocated and bound by the resins used in orgonite.

If it wasn't for that, I would have continued on from where I left off with the 11:11 sculpture: Had such big plans at the time to install 11:11s all over the world on key energy points. For planetary healing. 🦋

good photography

Thanks @saifuk.

Although many of my photographs have a lot of detail ~ I love simplicity. And so I'm really happy with the simplicity of this image. 🦋

Wow .... My dreaming Sony Alpha A7 Mark II, i love it 📸

It's such an amazing little camera AAnpix. A friend gave me her Canon, which captures details beautifully. But I like to travel as light as possible and even in the studio now I prefer the mirrorless and compact. 🦋
