The invisible light

The sun disappeared behind the forest. Twilight began. I photographed the fox knowing that the photos will not have any colors.
Later, processing the photo in Photoshop, I increased contrast and was surprised to find that the photo has colors! How come those yellows and reds appeared? At first I could not understand where colors came from in the grey twilight forest. But later I realized that the fox was lying between me and the sun that sat down by the trees. Although my eyes did not perceive this, the sun still shone directly into my lens and the camera sensor caught photons of light.
