AN EVENING AT GRAND PRISMATIC SPRING

in #photofeed3 years ago

Continuing my trip with @jarvie and Brandy, we spent an evening at Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone, hoping for a good sunset. We didn't get any clouds or super magical colors like we wanted but it's still a beautiful place to spend the evening defending your bare skin from the blood sucking mosquitoes.

While there we got to chatting with another photographer who was living out of van for the summer with some friends. Poor guy didn't have any mosquito spray so I let him use some of mine. I pretty much saved his life.

I would have loved to stay here for stars but we had another location in mind for that, but that'll be in another post.

Awesome. I really need to get out to Yellowstone at some point. I was going to go a few months ago, but ended up going to Colorado instead.

You really should, it's such a cool place. It's best to go in May or September/early October.
