Here's a few samples from my shoot with a stunning Russian model Claudia who's based here in Dublin.
My self and @condra did a few shots with Claudia a while back and was so impressed with her stunning look and just how nice and friendly she was to work with. That always helps on a shoot!
These were taken just down the road from my old apartment at a nice location beside the river Liffey. I must go back there for a shoot soon as it looked great!
Shot with a Nikon D810 and Tamron 70-200 f2.8 VC lens.
wow. aside from the stunning subject, your photography skills really surmount. <3

Very kind of you :)
Have you used flash? What kind?
Yep 3 flashes on this one. I was testing some cheap Jinbei kit that did pretty good but I ended up selling it. It was a Jinbei DC1200 as a key light in front. Its a really powerful kit but not very mobile and not ideal for my workflow. Then I used 2 Jinbei HD600's as rim lights. They're actually a great light, I just prefer the Godox equivalent (AD600).
Damn, 3 flashes. I almost never use 3 even in studio :D
Am I lazy? hah
Haha not at all. To be honest I probably overlit this one. Usually 1 or 2 flashes is more than enough. This was just me getting carried away having new toys to play with.
Yeah, I know the feeling... )
Good images, greetings from Venezuela
Thanking you kindly, greetings from Ireland ;)
I love her
She's great alright!
Great job as always. Quick question though... why do you overpower the natural lighting by so much? Since you are shooting outdoors I feel like it would be more beneficial for the composition to keep the ambient lighting to show the whole scene and not just the model. I guess its a matter of preference but seeing a bit more of the green field and blue skies would add to this image IMO.
See I'm the total opposite. I've no interest in seeing the background, other then it being vaguely visible to set the scene or give a bit of context to some shots. I almost always underexpose or blur out the background and have the shot focused on the subject. You're right about it being personal preference, and I know some people prefer more ambient in their shots. That just never really appealed to me.
Gotcha, to each its own I guess :) It's your shot so take it as you please... And post more of them :)
She sure is great and lovely !
Her eyes are stunning mate !
