Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse

Portland, Maine

I loved this lighthouse...I was able to get down on the rocks when the tide was just right, the waves washing infrequently over them - perfect for a long exposure.

This has long been a favourite seascape photo of mine, especially after I was lucky enough to have it featured as a two-page spread in the January 2015 of Digital SLR Photography Magazine.

Beautiful shot. Its a nice lighthouse also. So squat at the bottom.

Thanks! Yes, and while I don't prefer to have buildings around a lighthouse, these have a nice colored roof and are not objectionable. ;)

Gorgeous shot! So steamy and delicious looking.
