Hwy 1 near Montara California
DJI Mavic Pro, 26mm, 1/30sec, f/2.2, ISO 1600 [3992x2992]
I attempted to take my drone to the beach last night for sunset, however I underestimated the traffic and missed sunset. I proceeded to fly the drone anyway and test out how it would do in low light conditions. I took these shots at 1600 ISO, the max setting for the Mavic Pro drone. This stretch of coastline is about 20 miles south of San Francisco and is one of my favorite nature get aways close to the city.

no problem! looking forward to more!
Awesome!
nice look so good.
Nice
When I saw the thumbnail of the first photo, it looked like the photo of a snake on a beach lol. Maybe it was just my eyes. Nice photos @fivealive55.
Beautiful!
Pretty impressive what it can does in low light
I was impressed as well, the end result is a bit grainy but its good enough to see everything in the shot clearly.
For such a small and airborne device I think a little grain is acceptable
I agree, its more of a flying smartphone camera then a flying DSLR. I'm just glad I get to control the settings and it can produce a RAW image file.
The quality from them is very impressive
Got to love all these advances in technology
Love the drone shots. Nice.
SO cool! I love how aerial work can reduce such large swaths of land down to colour, shape, & line. Looks like a painting!
Ah love it man!! I also just uploaded a post with drone photography at HWY1
I'd recommend you to set your ISO lower to prevent the noise from popping up though.
All the best!
Of course! I took these shots at night so lower ISO would be really dark!
Drone pictures are fun to look at
Great drone shot. I would be afraid the wind would pick up the drone and carry it away lol..
I was at first but they have proven to be very resiliant to wind.
These photos are simply beautiful. Desperately want to make it to California!
Wow that's overwhelming! Thanks for sharing the amazing photos.
It's always so interesting to see the world from above, it's a view we rarely have. That shot of the highway is great.
