According to Wikipedia there are 238 waterfalls in the state of Oregon. I had no idea until I started traveling the state, but amazing waterfalls are everywhere. Toketee is not the tallest, widest, or any of that, but I found it to be one of the most beautiful. The lush forest combined with the layered rock give it a very unique look.

I always try to expose for at least a full second when shooting waterfalls to give the water that thick long exposure look. This can make keeping the sky in range challenging. Straight out of the camera the sky looked very close to white, I was very pleased to see all the blue come back after lowering the highlights in photoshop.

Your work is incredible!

The US west coast is my dream! I can't wait to roadtrip out there one day. I love the small distortion that comes from the super wide angle, it really centers the waterfall in the picture! Great job

Stunning photograph. Waterfalls are such a joy! We have 250 here in North Carolina.

That columnar basalt is beautiful, gotta love the cascades!
