"Take evasive action!" I assume they know what they're doing, but one never knows. It's not often you see jets that close together, outside of an air show.
I find that my camera sometimes messes up the auto white balance and takes a little subjective correction. It looks interesting green, but it's possible the tint was mis-calculated. If you want it to be more blue, try bringing the tint value up to about +30 (ish) in Lightroom :-)
Your lens flare is interesting, especially in that second photo. Have you tried taking photos of really bright lights in the distance to see what kind of star patterns it makes? That could be fun. Every lens handles flare differently.
I know!! John was worried they were going to crash which is why I was taking photos, just in case. No not really. But yes, they looked really close - I wonder how far is close to them?
The white balance - I believe I have it on 0 and no auto balance. I wondered if the yellow from the sun changed the blue to green...I know that might be dumb but??
I did try to bring the temp to the bluer side of things but I found that ultimately the blue didn't look like the clear blue sky I remember. The tint is at 32.
No, I haven't tried taking photos of bright lights.....what exactly do I do?
I get stars in my eyes just before I get a migraine....does that count?? :)
Haha! Well migraines are no fun. I get visual ones, which don't hurt but mess with my already bad vision.
Ah, that's pretty high already, but tint balances green /magenta, so if you need to "degreen..." It could be the color blending like you say, though. Either way, I like green :-)
When I take photos of extremely bright streetlights in the distance, sometimes I get flare stars. My ultra wide angle lens makes a strange starburst.
That's with the ultra-wide.
Migraines are terrible. I've experienced the "painless" kind as well. My eyeballs feels very strange and jiggly and I get vertigo. The pain ones though are really special. Thankfully I don't get them as often as I did when I was younger.
I love the flares personally. It's like a surprise :)
I'm glad I don't get the painful migraines... I have a friend who has emergency medication for when hers strike.
Flares can be a good thing. I like how my 24-70 lens creates little pincushions, sometimes.
