The natural lighting on the coast goes from golden hour every hour to a fog with almost zero visibility. Making for some amazing contrast for local photographers to capture.
Naturally photogenic, Vancouver island is a paradise to some, but long-stays through the winter are a nightmare to others. The heavy winded storms and up to a month of rainy days drive many Canadians back to the snowy winters because although mainland winters are cold there can be a significant amount of sunshine.
