On this gloomy day in Dallas, I can't help but think of this beautiful sunflower field in Gundlupet, Karnataka. We were driving from Bangalore to Ooty (our last road trip in India) when we suddenly came across lots of sunflower fields lining the highway. We couldn't resist stopping the car. We had to pay 20 INR to the savvy farmer who owned this field for a selfie with the flowers. :)
Sooo pretty. Do check my posts as well!
Thank you! Sure, I'll check your posts!
I love sunflowers. Wouldn't mind paying someone who takes care of these flowers.
Sunflowers are my favorite! Letting travelers take a selfie and charging them for it was more like a side business for the farmer.
Ingenious, these muggles! Ha haa..
que hermoso, nunca había visto un campo de girasol así, que bien te ha quedado la fotografía. saludos..
The flowers really look beautiful. I am sure it's worth the 20 INR... But how much is that in USD?
It's less than a dollar. But that wasn't the cost of the flowers. It was just to take a picture in the field. The farmer was smart enough to know that people won't mind paying him for just a couple of pictures with such beautiful flowers. :)
Yes, I understand... You mentioned that in your post :)
What a pretty picture! Upvoted :)
