Great! It's always nice to meet another Floridian.

I will eventually be posting about my time in Scotland, so I hope you come across it and enjoy reading it. Until then, keep up the great posts. I enjoyed them

Cool. I am following you, so should see your posts if I dont miss them. I go back to Scotland every year because my Dad is in his nineties and cant visit here anymore. We’re going to a wedding in a castle in August!

It's wonderful that you are able to go see him every year. I bet it's also refreshing to reconnect with nature when you are up there. I know I left very energized.

Ah, enjoy the wedding!

We are so looking forward to it. Every second year I travel alone and last year spent a day in Iceland on the way home. This time, my husband will be with me, and we are going to spend a few days exploring a bit more of Iceland. Looking forward to seeing all the family in Scotland, and the wedding in a castle will be a first for me! My cousin’s daughter lives in the USA, but is going home to Scotland to be married in the castle!

Did you get to see the northern lights in Iceland?

That sounds lovely. Be sure to post something, I don't know that area at all

Sadly, no I didn't. It was the start of the season and I had a tour scheduled, but it rained that night! I have seen them in Scotland many times though, a long time ago before I had the equipment for catching long exposures. I did get one very blah image in Scotland last year. The glow was straight across the horizon. It will be too early when we are there in July, although it is still possible to see them that early.
