Downtown Seattle and the Space Needle

Looking at downtown Seattle and the iconic Space Needle with Mount Rainier in the background. In proof that I do come down out of the wilderness occasionally and communicate with other humans I took this shot at my first (and only thus far) STEEM meetup with @adonisabril who I had asked for some tips on locations in his home city to shoot. It was great to finally meet Adonis; check out his feed if you have not already.

This is a single 6 second shot at f/7.1 using the super sharp Canon 100-400 IS f/4.5-5.6L II on an EOS 6D II at ISO 100 and 100mm focal length. I was going to stack a few shots but there was no nose to speak of here so I did not bother. You can click on the photo for a larger view.

Seattle is the largest city in Washington State in the USA with a population of around 4.5 million when the surrounding metropolitan areas are included. The space needle was built for the 1962 World's Fair which drew over which drew over 2.3 million visitors. Mount Rainier is the highest mountain of the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest at 4,392 m or 14,411 ft.
