A dust storm covers the Burj Khalifa. Built between 2004 and 2009 it is the tallest artificial structure in the world, standing at 829.8 m (2,722 ft). Dubai, UAE.
Some days are best spent inside!

WOW! I would to visit it one day
You should !
That is a big dust storm!
It is indeed !
No kidding! That's an eerie photo - seems otherworldly. Were you inside or outside when you took this shot?
I was actually in an aeroplane.
Oh, goodness! Flying low, I think!
It's almost teasing you with what a spectacular view there would be when the dust lifted!
;-)
Oh no , How terrible!
Made for a nice photo , so it's not all bad!
I am just talking about the news dear @intrepidphotos
WOW! I love the image beneath this fog. Rob is a very successful shot again. pretty cool!
congratulations.
Thanks
Amazing!!
Thanks
Nothing like dust in the lens! Resteemed!
Wow thanks guys ! Always love seeing your logo pop up!
Great photo! The "shadow" effect is really well accomplished and the color effect is really good as well. Were you inside a building or outside during the sand storm? It would be nice to have a comparison without the sand storm so we could have a point of reference of the view.
Upvote!
Thanks. I was actually in an aeroplane when I took the shot.

Thank @fireawaymarmot for this great gif!
How much does it cost to get to the top?
I am not sure; I have never been up.
This reminds me of my own Burj Khalifa sandstorm picture from last year. We were out having coffee at the weekly Farmers Market when the storm began to blow in, quickly obscuring the features of the tower. All that remained was a silhouette.
They can have amazing dust storms there.
Incredible !! i hope to visit that place!!! I like your photos!!!
I would have thought after our last interaction you would not be sending me more unsolicited links ....
Oh gentleman, what a mistake I've made. I've already corrected the message. Excuse me.
Wow! Strangely enough, I’ve never seen photos of UAE taken from this “angle”. Mysterious but definitely gorgeous!
It was taken from an aeroplane; so its probably not a shot that is easily replicated.
Beautiful work! 🙏🏼
Thanks
