Predawn glow at Glen Helen Gorge on the Finke River. Thought to be perhaps the oldest identifiable river still seasonally flowing in the world it predates the mountains around it which formed in an uplift 300-400 million years ago. The gorge is located in the West MacDonnell National Park or Tjoritja in the Northern Territory of Australia.

The colours are amazing, and my brain is seriously hurting thinking how early you would have had to get up to catch a pre-dawn photo XD
Thanks mate. I take it you don't like the mornings ;-)
I like mornings in theory. The colours and the smells are nothing short of amazing. Practically I'm an owl so my brain gets mad and sulks if I have to go to bed early or get up early even if it's for something I'm otherwise looking forward to XD
I am a bit like that but being a photographer necessitates getting up for sunrise on occasion.
Amazing photo! I just read your interview in Photofeed, it's nice to know about your work and experience. I like photography and I always take tips from the professionals. Thank you for sharing those amazing photos!
Thanks. Appreciate you taking the time to read it as most don't. Always happy to help if you have any questions about your photography.
That must have been an awe-inspiring trek through that gorge.
