Smokey Sunrise - BC is on Fire

Smokey sunrise yesterday morning over Ness Lake. There are currently 463 wildfires burning across BC with 440 thousand acres burned so far this summer. While we are not personally close to any of the bad fires, we have been experiencing high smoke levels and a lot of ash fallout over the past couple of days. Here is hoping for some rain.

That's sad, what's the common reason for the fires? There was a lot of fire in Cape Town, Table Mountain last summer and it was the draught season which made it even worse

Climate has shifted and western Canada is having much warmer and dryer summers. This is the new norm sadly.
