Following a few days of rain and snow some clearing begins. Melting snow has Dry Creek flowing nicely while the cloud mass begins to break up with only intermittent snow showers occurring. Finally the light breaks through shining on a distant mountain giving off a golden glow.

An extremely nice shot. I agree with @apolymask that the rippled reflection is a fantastic highlight to the over all effect of the picture. So many varied contrast in the image, and they all combine in great form. Good luck on the contest, I think this is a really nice image.
I agree, the light and the reflection were perfect. I wish I could see more of the mountain in the back round but the high contrast lighting made it work. I knew when I saw it that I was there at the right time. Thanks and have a great day.
Wow... This one is epic in my opinion. The reflection is great, the line of trees has a lot of character and how it partly hides the mountain in the back which is lit up and surrounded by such cool looking clouds is awesome... Very nice! I could be wrong but I'm assuming this is that bridge out Dry Creek, though I don't remember ever seeing a picture quite like this from over there before. That's a cool spot! PS Good luck in the photo challenge!
That's what I said when I saw it. Normally that spot is not that great, but everything came together at once here. Yes it is off the Dry Creek bridge. Thanks a lot.
Wow ... Beautiful landscape
That's wonderful to hear, thanks.
Very nice photo
