It was at the height of the monsoon season many years ago. Very heavy rainfall had just stopped, giving way to some special light coming in at sunset. Which shows off the beauty of Cathedral Rock as well as the flat rock with it's reflection pools. When the red sandstone absorbs water the colors intensify.
Sedona Arizona USA.
Nice replication
Thanks a lot sir!
I've seen this one many times over the years so it's not new to me like it is to others on here, but.. Great shot though! Really showcases the beauty of Sedona and also the flatrock spot. A beautiful capture!
You put it into perspective quite well, we both know how special this place is. Thanks!

Thank you for showing your appreciation, It's good to hear.
Hi @irvinesimages look at the earth looks very dry, seems to ask for a little moisture or maybe the small lake feels sorry for her and goes to wet it and refresh it.
Blessings:)
Hi Martha, Our earth is always wanting rain, and it's a pleasure when we get it. Thanks and have a nice day!
That is a really nice image, I love the deep color, and the reflection in the pool in the foreground.

Too red..a little creepy and very unusual.
That's what Sedona looks like? The rocks are very red especially at sunset. Have you ever been there or seen it before?
Never been there but look so fascinating so really like to go there some day.
It's a cool place! It's sorta like Mars. Lol. I suggest it if you ever get the chance, quite a beautiful and mysterious place.
