Although I crank through my photos a little faster, I'm liking posting these galleries. It gives me a chance to show off a breadth of different types of photos. The hardest part is choosing the thumbnail. :) One day I'll get past all of these collections and I'll get back to writing stories. I think the little princess needs to continue her adventure soon.

Vending machines in Japan, you can buy just about anything - but mostly, if you're thirsty there's always something around. Coffee, beer, cola...weird corn drinks. Everyone seems to have a machine outside. I wasn't brave enough to try the weird corn drinks....

Channeling my inner vampire again and going out when it's a bit later, you get to see the world in a different light. I loved just standing by an open door and clicking away to see how it'd turn out. There are so many little restaurants, always bustling there was always something to shoot.

Somewhat related: One thing I haven't mentioned about Japan, that I think I took for granted is how safe it is. Canada is safe, and most places you can walk alone at night without much thought. But Japan is on a whole other level. It's insanely safe. We walked around down alleys, in quiet communities etc. and never so much as a hint of a problem.

Ah shit @travelfeed. Copy pasted the hashtag. Now changed. How embarrassing. I should know better. The next post will be 252 words to make up for it. :)

Beautiful Nite shots :)

Thank you very much.

oh wow! the first thing when I looked at the picture was ;
" is it safe to travel alone at night?"
Then, as I read further I found the answer! Glad to hear it's safe.I once found a vending machine that sells shoes, but that was in Malaysia, What is the most unique things sold in vending machine in Japan?

Used underwear. But I've seen every kind of drink...to Ramen....to tshirts.

That vending machine shot is cool. Looks like an opening scene for some scary movie or something :)

Yeah. Could be a horror story for sure. Maybe I'll have to write it up.

You know what? You are pretty darn good at this night stuff. Can mountains under a full moon be far behind??

I agree with your assessment that it's time for the Princess to make another appearance.

Did you ever see the poison pen letter Steven King got? A Polaroid picture of a teddy bear in chains with the note: " Bring back the Gunslinger or the bear gets it". He saved the bear.

Thanks for another look at Japan.

:) Yeah - i've been neglecting the stories. I'll get back to it i'm sure.

I never get bored with this candid street photography showing the genuine life of local people.

I'm starting to really enjoy taking them.

I have heard that Japan has a reputation for being very safe. I used to be a homestay for International students. One of our best students was a young lady from Japan and she told us that It was very similar to Canada in terms of safety. Weare still in contact with her now almost 10 years later. Great Pictures.

It is pretty similar in most cities in Canada....but still not quite the same. There's very few sketch areas in Japan...here we have a few.

thanks for the beautiful pictures ;)

Thanks for taking a look!

Safe Denmark salutes fellow safe Japan [and Canada] :D
Oh try the weird corn drinks, come oooon!!!!

No weird corn drinks for me :) Steem to the moon!
