The natural bridge in Yoho National park British Columbia, Canada is an incredible sight. Winter or summer it’s a great place to hangout.
Normally the water is such a brilliant greeny blue like the picture below.
However this year, it’s been so cold the water completely froze – which I’ve never seen before.
We were able to get right inside the falls. It was a little bit scary to hear the water rushing under our feet and all around us once we were in the tunnel. The patterns the water has made on the walls is like art.
Natural art.
That mother nature - she's quite an artist.

Reminds me a bit of Malign Canyon in Jasper. Great colour to that water!
A little bit yeah - maligne is much much bigger
So beautiful @jfolkmann. Thanks for sharing. Regards
xoxo.
Thank you so much.
Yes, I imagine it would be a tad unnerving to be in the frozen waterfall and hear water running underneath.
Amazing color and beautiful to experience. Thanks for sharing your photos!
It was echoing off the cavern...crazy
That is just freaking amazing. What a great set of photos of an event that doesn't happen all that often. Thank you.
I am impatiently waiting for the temps in the higher country here to raise so I can take a ride to Tonto Arch. Much different, but much the same.
Nice post and a great place. Walking inside a frozen fall is something I have to put on my TODO list :D
Nice to see this in winter. Will hopefully get down that far one day.
Mother nature, the master artist. Looks like an awesome place!
