On our way down the Jotunheimen, we found a potential interesting place to visit: river called Sjoa, or maybe a small part of this long river which flows between two lakes - Nedre Sjodalsvatnet and Ovre Sjodalsvatnet (Lower and Upper lake).
Between these two lakes is a big attitude difference and the connecting river flows rapidly between them.
On the location we took a short hike scouting the area for interesting spots, birds, mushrooms, berries and everything else we found interesting ;).
Beautiful area, weather was harsh, rainy and windy, but still very beautiful as the soft light was saturating the early autumnal colours of nature around us.
We spent there around an hour - it was our first real contact with norwegian nature at this trip so everything was fascinating.
I found many great spots and compositions for my photography purposes plus I recorded my first video from this trip there - video will be public on Sunday on my yt channel - I will share a link in Sunday :).
This location was the moment I realize how much I love The North - Scandinavia, Norway... I love it for its wild nature, extremely fresh air, clear waters, landscapes, lack of people outside the towns, smells and sounds...
I really felt there like I was returning to my home.. to my place.
Definitely... the place I should be in...
