Hi!
In my opinion coastline/shoreline area as a "location" to shoot has always a lot to offer.
Great open sky for sunset, sunrise, skyscapes... rocks, stones, sand, sea ponds, wildlife, far horizon and of course - The Waves and water itself.
Maybe that is why Lofoten Islands is a great photographic destination.
We can find all sorts of sea coast there. Very often we can see stormy sky and big waves.
On these images - session by the Skagsanden beach during very high tide and stormy weather.
Catching the right moment is the key to success - it is time and memory consuming but totally worth trying in final.
I took probably around a 100 shots in a very short time to finally choose just few which works for me - but that is how it is - more we will try, more chances for success.
Soon I hope I will go back there to lead a photographic workshops again!
