Set of images taken on my last visit in Sylan mountains.
I was lucky to be there in a perfect time of autumn, when all the leaves turned yellow/orange already.
It looked amazing - all the landscape was burning in golden colors. It was probably the last day with such a nice setup - strong winds which came after my visit blow away all these golden colored leaves, strip down the trees and changing the landscape to more brown/grey look.
Wandering around in a random place of Stugudalen valley I was using my long lens to capture different trees which cought my eye.
Birch trees on this attitude don't grow very high, instead they are creating amazing forms which remind me Bonsai trees. The difference here is a scale and the fact that they were shaped by extreme weather conditions not a hands of the human.

Yes, I was lucky to be there that day enjoying every moment. Beautiful 2 days in the mountains - unfortunately it was my "goodbye" trip, I am moving out Norway and coming back to Poland. Hope I will have opportunity to visit the place again some day.
Glad you were blessed with perfect timing of the autumn foliage changing while you visited! Are you moving from Norway to Poland voluntarily or due to outside factors such as job or family situation?
It is more about family situation - I have a 4 year old son and we decided it would be much better for him to grow up closer to the whole family and grandparents. We can always get back here in later times ;)...
Ah, spoken like a true loving parent who puts his family first! Wise decision. Children are young for a very short time then they spread their wings! Family support is essential. Good luck with the move!
Thank You, it will be hard time for all of us, to start in a new place, not an easier to live place... comparing Norway and Poland... it is a huge difference in many aspects... but we have to try.
