RE: Places have colors: Purple for Scotland

in #photofeed7 years ago

Yes there is even a traditional song about the purple, purple heather! Did you know Scotland has been voted #1 most beautiful places to visit. If you go in Winter of early Spring you will see mega waterfalls cascading down the mountains, lots of snow - this Winter has been the best (worst) ever with Red Warnings for Weather. A beautiful country and friendly people. Did you know a tiny country with around 4.5 Million population has given so so much to the World. Scots invented Heather (joking), the television, Telephone, Penicillin, The Pneumatic Tyre, Logarithms, the bicycle. the Steam Engine, Insulin, the Overheads Valve Engine, The Bank of England (founded), HSBC (founded), tubular steel, the modern crane and Economics (founder Adam Smith) as well as giving great philosophers and Writers. Ah well Scotland!

Yes, I know it was voted number one! And I could see why all the month I was there :D It's truly amazing and you are right: I have to visit in more seasons! I've been a few days in march and a month from august/september.

The country is gorgeous and the people indeed SUPER FRIENDLY. I didn't know Scots were such great inventors of such amazing things too :D

So, is 'Rob Scot' your full name or are you just a Rob who also happens to be a Scot :D
