Lights on white sails

Vivid, Sydney’s annual festival of light and colour is held each winter and attracts visitors from across the globe. For twenty-three nights each year the city is transformed into one of the world’s largest outdoor galleries; a wonderland of light, illuminated sculptures and grand-scale projections.

Attracting thousands to the harbour foreshores, the Sydney Opera House—its iconic sails illuminated in colourful projections is the festival’s centrepiece and the epicentre of this wondrous celebration.
