We celebrated our 10yr wedding anniversary this week and went out for dinner BY OURSELVES with NO children and it was super lovely.
Mexican dinner with no timeline. We could actually focus on eating and talking and had no stares from strangers wondering why on earth we have so many children, asking if they are all boys and wondering if I’m old enough to even have them. It was delightful.
Our slow dinner was followed by a stroll in Glenelg, pictured here, and a long uninterrupted sit on the grass before we had icecream.
We had a beautiful time talking and relaxing and soaking in the lovely atmosphere of Glenelg in summer. We did decide to come again with the kids because they would love the water feature and the buskers and the food just as much as we did. That’s family hey...it’s nice to have a break sometimes but they are intertwined in our souls and we just want to enjoy life with them.
Hope you have a wonderful day,
Jessi x
