I was struggling with this one, so decided to have a little fun with it. NASA images were sourced from the NASA creative commons.
This is so cool! New profile pic.
Glad you like it @jrue. I was just having some fun with it. :)
My favorite so far.
Thanks @viking-ventures :)
Here's the inspiration behind the image...
Hahahaha! I almost did this exact same thing! That's awesome! :D
Haha, Great minds think alike. Great work on the Martian shot though, really nice editing
Haha, yes, and thank you! I'm really glad I had the Martian idea at the last minute. ;)
Here is my version:
Look at this handsome young man. I dusted off his coat for him.
I wasn't expecting anything special when I saw the small preview. But when I opened the photo in an editor, I found the particles (snow?) around @jrue. I liked them so much! As for editing, there are some minimal touches, like aligning, toning and cropping 16:9 for more cinematographic effect.

Here is my version. I cropped it to highlight him better as well as my usual edits.

This photo has so many beautiful details. When I opened it up on lightroom and saw the snow, I loved it! So I just had to add some more snow!!!

At first, when I saw the snow in the bottom right corner I was thinking to add snowflakes and make it look dreamy and snowy, but I was kind of bored with snow and decided to go with a more space transporting theme and make it and intergalactic looking portrait
And for those interested to see how I did it, you can watch
the recording of my stream on here: https://dlive.io/video/vmoldo/6f405781-1ece-11e8-8d9c-0242ac110002
PS: what kind of skin products do they use at NASA?! His skin is so freaking perfect!!
Here's my go at this photo. Tried to keep it a simple edit and cropped it a bit tighter.
I've never done anything like this before... so this was just a little bit exciting for me! :D

I promise I didn't see @galione's image before I made mine! ;)
Interesting capture @aweber. As soon I saw this shot I decided to go for a b&w version. This allowed me to push the image (quite dark) a bit more and I discovered also some snow not visible without bringing out the highlights.
My post with all the edits for this Friday is here
Here's my edit.
My edit of this photo!
I did a live editing video to go along with my submissions.
