NEW TO THE PHOTOGAMES??

Introduction to The Photo Games Post.

Sort:

A very beautiful lake. It's amazing so many options and not a single black and white. In fact, I really like the author's version of processing.
But a hard BW always has the right to exist) In it, the star-lines become visible.

By the way, it would be interesting to place a few underwater lights under the water and ice here...

I liked your black and white, @narchuk, thanks for playing! And yes...underwater lights would make this a whole lot more interesting. I think Paul Zizka may have done that at this very place?

Making an effort to play more

Love this one! Great idea

This is great! A close runner-up. I like that reflection thing you do! Glad you played! :D

I quite enjoyed the purples in this so I went that route. :)

vermillion_by_dk_raw.jpg

lovely combination!! :)

could not miss the opportunity to hide one mrope unicorn in your photos
11November-6419-Edit.jpg

Is this a proposal for a new game #findunicornfriday ? :)

it might be, you can include it in the week 4, derek is the master of unicorns afterall

Now I think you're just messing with us, Vlad...

sorry i forgot to make it clickable so you can actually zoom in enough o see it

Nah, it's no hardship to right click and view image large. I still didn't see it, though.

proof: ->

but im not showing you where it is

Oh... actually that DID help. I wonder why it wasn't full size before? I found it, but wow, that was a tricky business! :D

Haha, I finally found it after I almost stuck my eyeballs to the screen...

damn @vmoldo you're just too good on editing ;o

vermillion_by_dk_raw.jpg
Beautiful shot @derekkind! That was fun to work on.

Darkened the bottom part to emphasize the mountains. :D

It was a pleasure editing such a great picture!I didn't mess with it a lot, since I thought it was almost perfect in the first place. I hope you like the outcome.
It reminded me of Mordor from The Lord of the Rings vice versa (darkness in front, light on the mountain :)

vermillion_by_dk_raw-3.jpg

Thank you, I'm glad you had fun! :D Mordor...interesting...like when hell freezes over? :D

derekkind.jpg

First of all, an incredible photo to begin with! I need to invest in a proper ND filter!

Brother you I am very fond of photography
and I am very excited that you have to post
it in ours like this. Another thing you love
is that I'm interested in you @biplob0136

Really amazing!!

vermillion_by_dk_raw.jpg

One of my fave #fixitfriday 's for sure!

Oooh, moody! Thanks, @vtravels! :D

Always moody! :P

Thanks for this unique shot Derek! It was great fun to edit... I havent ventured far into the use of longexposure photography, but getting to play around with this file really shows me what I'm missing out on haha!

For this edit, I found the colors in the sky to be incredibly unique, so I really wanted to accentuate those blues and purples, while keeping the mythical glow of the image! I also cropped the photo a little to try and make that lit up mountain really stand out as the main subject of the shot! I hope you like it :)

vermillion_by_dk_raw.jpg

Oh, this is fun! Here's my edit. Haven't gotten my hands on a D850 yet, so it was nice to play with the file. Hope you like it! :)

@derekkind OH MY F**K ! When I come back home I will edit it!!!!!! damn I love this photo :D

They say that you need an unicorn to win and because everyone has trouble finding the hidden unicorns I made a unicorn that explodes in a rainbow!
fixetit.jpg

Hey, Derek! Thank you for the opportunity to edit such a dreamy photo!
vermillion_by_dk_raw.jpg

My first try for #fixitfriday. I hope you enjoy it.
Photo Games Week 9 - fertig.jpg

My photo editor complained a bit about the size of this one! But it was fun - such a beautiful picture! I wanted to maximize the feeling of the blue while keeping just enough of the purple in there to make it look as magical as it felt to me.
frozen_lake.jpg

Say HI to your photo looking totally different :D
vermillion_by_dk_raw.jpg

I fixed my laptop so can play this week! Your images are absolutely stunning. I was so excited to get an opportunity to edit one. I love these @photogames - I have just lost half a day to them.

snowmountain.JPG

Lost half a day of time but gained lots of joy and knowledge? I hope ;)

I had a lot of fun. It was a happily lost half day.

Everyone's edits look fantastic
when the original image
is perfect to start with!
@derekkind
Here's my entry for this
week's #fixitfriday challenge:
image

This image is almost too good for the contest :)
I tried to process it recovering the shadows and adding some colors, but without doing too much as it is always a night shot.

asgarth

My post with all the edits for this week is here.

Great Lake; I like the image! This is my entry:

This is an exposure of 9 minutes, and I was impressed by the quality of the raw file. It was quite easy to edit it in such a way that it looked like it was taken during the day!

Beautiful photo! I just removed some little distractors on ice and cropped a bit.

Sorry for the long delay, it's been a crazy week for me! You are the winner! I like your crop, your colours, and your removal of the footprints. You're a pro at this game, Dmytro! :D

From the moment I saw this one, I though it should be B&W

derek-Edit.jpg

I didn't know beforehand if people would turn this into a monochrome, but for me this shot SCREAMED for it! A truly amazing shot :-)

Greetings, here I leave my photo edition
foto-efecto1.png

Wow, this is beautiful... sorry I missed this one!

Hey! I got back here to see who won and looks like no one ;)

Oh no!!! I knew I was forgetting something...

As it happens, yours is the winner! I promise this isn't a case of "the squeaky wheel getting the grease." I had yours picked out before, I just never confirmed and made it official. :)
