Student communities look out for ways to give back to communities and the society at large. 
Such is the case of I and my friends who went to clean the market of the community housing our college, it was an exciting and fun filled activity. Community service is an action carried out for the benefit of others,maybe a community or a society. It is a voluntary service hence people who volunteer are not paid but food and small gifts such as t-shirts are given . Examples of community service includes :
1.working with school children:teaching them after school,
2.Working with the aged: visiting them and delivering, driving them to appointments and delivering meals to them.
3.Giving to the environment: by planting trees,clearing bushy areas,cleaning gutters,fumigating areas,putting up road signs etc
- Donating items to the orphanage and volunteering to coach a youth team.
Community service provides the opportunity for us to help others, gain experience, learn diverse careers,makes us responsible and compassionate and helps us gain new friends.
I feel that if students in a greater number maximize greatly the power of community service,citizens residing in communities will be extremely happy and that will enhance or empower communal growth .
